Annual contact lens examinations are necessary for maintaining the health of your eyes. Each year, it is important to make sure that your lenses are still fitting properly and that your eyes are receiving enough oxygen.

The contact lens fitting is an additional step in the eye exam and is used to determine the centering and movement of your contacts on your eyes, as well as measuring the curvature of your cornea. There are many different types of contact lenses and the goal of the fitting is to find the most appropriate contacts for your optimal eye health, vision, and comfort.

Contact lens fitting fees start at $40 and go up dependant upon the complexity of the fit. Fees greater than $40 include two follow-up visit within 60 days of your original exam date, all diagnostic contact lenses, and sample contact lens solution. If more than two visits or greater than 60 days are needed to finalize your prescription, a $25 fee per visit will be charged.
